Filippo,
I haven't been growing Hab radiata for long so I don't know how common pelorism is in that species but that is a good looking flower - not grotesque like a lot of abberant terrestrial flowers tend to be. Have you sprayed it with anything recently or has the flower developed like that of it's own accord? Please post the rest of the flowers when they open up completely. The unopened flowers look to be all frills so I'd be interested in knowing if it flowers that way across the whole stem and whether it holds the trait in subsequent years. Definitely a keeper if it does.

Hi,

it's not a common form of pelorism... It has two half and specular lips..
it has also two shorter nectary tube on those small labellums..

In traditional pelorism, the three lips are disposed on an angle of 120° each other... so this form looks very strange...
I don't understand what is exactly.

The plant is living in a live sphagnum moss pot, together whit some other Pecteilis that have flowered in the typical way.

I does not add anything...only a little bit of manure that I use for all my other orchids.
no other chemical substances or insecticide...

the other 4 flowers of the spike are all as the first show in photos. today, also the second is completly open...

thank you so much..
bye.

It's a selection made and grown in Japan. The spur also has 3 tips. Not really beautifull but very cool.

I have the same clone aswell.

greetings

Looks like the photo originates from Kent's Australian Terrestrial Orchid Website.

It's the site where I think you found it, the bottom photo is of cv 'Hishou' and the photographer's technique is the same. Kent has moved his site a few times over the past few years, which may explain why you lost it.
